Art Program

Meet our new art tutor, Olivia Avery!

"Hello, I'm Olivia! I am from a big homeschooling family of twelve. I recently graduated with a degree in Studio Art from Union University. As a teacher in a homeschool program as well as special needs day camps, I am ready to share the gift of art with young people who enjoy it as much as I do! I bring my unique experience as a tutor, a student, and a homeschooler! Popular homeschool art tutor, Gwen English, is my long-time mentor and tutor. Her guidance helped me from my early high school career to now as I assist in her program at St. George's Independent School as a visiting artist. From elementary through high school art, I aim to create a warm and welcoming environment for students as well as teach the foundations of art to guide them toward future artistic endeavors. When I’m not teaching, I work for a local pottery studio and really love snacks. I am privileged to be a part of Community."
